Jan’s first foray into television was in 1972 when she won a nationally televised quest, The Lovely Motherhood Quest.

With this, came the chance to appear on a popular children’s morning show. She was then invited to become a regular guest on the Mike Walsh Midday Show on Channel Ten. She continued this role when the Midday Show with Ray Martin moved to Channel Nine. She was one of the most popular guests to appear on the long-running Midday Show.

Jan gained a national profile – and a certain notoriety – when she appeared on 60 Minutes in the late eighties, describing a particular aspect of Canberra’s parliamentary night life.

For a decade, she was a highly popular and controversial panelist on Channel Ten/Foxtel’s Beauty & the Beast.

She has past experience as a talk-back radio host on 2KY and 2GB, filling in for Ron Casey and John Laws, respectively.

Jan has intimate knowledge of the Australian political scene, a highly developed interest in current affairs and a love of the arts. She also has a way with words.

VEDASCOPE, 2002

Jan has only ever endorsed what she believes are ethical products.

As a cervical cancer survivor, she was pleased to be involved with the launch of Vedascope for sshmedical, an all-Australian biotech listed company researching and developing a superior alternative to the duck-billed speculum used for Pap testing.

Within nine days of Jan’s endorsement of Vedascope being announced in the business pages, and radio ads being run, sshmedical’s share price had risen by 88%!

Using her long-time PR skill and her little black book, Jan also worked the highly successful media campaign which complimented her endorsement.

RENEWYOU, 2005-2008

Jan has been a long-time advocate of living a healthy, holistic life style which includes fitness regimes and attention to her overall well-being and appearance.

After thorough research of the anti-aging industry, when delivered in combination with holistic medicine, she was pleased to become the ‘face’ of the Queensland holistic clinic, RenewYou, a role she filled for three years as the company expanded.

Her association with RenewYou saw her employing her journalist’s skills to write a feature page each month in the Gold Coast Magazine as well as contributing to special health & beauty supplements in the Courier Mail and Sunday Mail.

FOREVER YOUNG and CACI International, 2009 – 2010 on-going

Jan has continued to support the anti-aging industry – possibly having become the ‘pin-up girl’ for it – via her passionate promotion of a boutique Queensland clinic, ForeverYoung.

ForeverYoung is also the exclusive Australia-wide distributor for CACI, the award-winning market leaders in the field of microcurrent, high frequency and non-crystal microdermabrasion techniques and equipment.

Jan is available to consider ethical endorsements. See contact details to arrange.
